Short answers to the questions we hear most often.
Is QG-IA a piece of software?
No. QG-IA is an installation and a managed service, built on the open-source software Open WebUI and LiteLLM. The Open WebUI brand remains visible in the interface. We install, configure, back up and monitor the platform for you.
Where is our data stored?
On a server dedicated to your business, hosted in Europe (OVHcloud, Germany). Note: questions sent to a model are processed by its provider (for example Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or Mistral), outside the server.
Can my colleagues see my conversations?
No. Conversations are private by default. They are shared only when you work inside a project folder, and the team then sees what is put there. Admin screens give no access to them. The server administrator does have technical access to the database.
Which AI models are available?
All those the platform can connect to: Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Mistral, Grok, DeepSeek and most models in the catalogue, for text, images, transcription and voice. We enable the ones that suit your tasks and your confidentiality rules, each named for what it does best, and we switch when better value appears.
Can the AI draw plans?
No. It produces concept sketches, schematic 3D models and mood images, which are not binding and must be checked by the architect. Dimensioned drawings and BIM stay in Archicad, Revit or SketchUp.
How much does it cost?
Three parts: set-up, €1,799 one-off; the managed service, €249 a month; AI usage, at cost, paid directly to the providers with a monthly cap set together. Prices excluding VAT, no per-person subscription.
Is QG-IA right for my trade?
QG-IA is for small and medium-sized businesses that want to share AI between colleagues, with clear rules. The assistants are tuned for your tasks during the workshop. Architecture practices are our first trade, with assistants already prepared.
Is the "Which AI for which task?" guide free?
Yes. For concrete tasks, it gives the recommended tool, an alternative and what to check. It is expanded over the months.
How long does it take to get started?
About a month: your needs in week one, installation in week two, getting started in week three, adjustments in week four.
What is a tailored AI for a small business?
An AI set up for your business: your instructions, your reference documents, your vocabulary and assistants for each task (minutes, letters, quotes, tenders…). It is not a model trained specially for you: we configure existing models, such as Claude and ChatGPT, with your context. It is faster, cheaper and easier to evolve.
ChatGPT Business, Claude Team or QG-IA: what is the difference?
ChatGPT Business and Claude Team are per-person subscriptions with a single provider, which hosts your conversations. QG-IA brings several providers (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Mistral…) together in one workspace, on a server dedicated to your business, with assistants tuned for your trade and AI usage paid at cost, with no per-person subscription. Depending on team size and usage, either option can work out cheaper: we do the calculation with you.
Where do you work?
In Brussels, throughout Belgium and elsewhere. QG-IA is managed from Brussels by Rubicom SRL; set-up and onboarding are done remotely, and on site if needed.
